When a payment meets a defined milestone, the system automatically issues the reward to that payer. Milestones are fixed in advance, transparent, and publicly published. There is no randomness, no draws, and no chance-based elements, only deterministic, auditable triggers based on completed payment events.

What types of invoices can I use Brumby Pay for?

Brumby Pay can be used for most standard invoices and bills where payment is voluntary and not subject to formal enforcement or regulatory restriction.
You can use Brumby for:
 • Business-to-business (B2B) invoices
 • Business-to-consumer (B2C) bills and service charges
 • One-off or recurring payments
 • Overdue invoices still managed internally (not sent to collections or legal action)
Common examples include trade services, consulting, memberships, subscriptions, and consumer bills, provided they don’t fall into a restricted category.

Brumby Pay must not be used for:
 • Credit contracts, loans, BNPL products, or financial services
 • Court-enforced debts or payments under legal dispute
 • Sectors listed on our Restricted Sector Register

Brumby Pay can be used for invoices or bills issued to businesses, consumers, or households, and for in-person (POS) or eCommerce payments where applicable. Rewards are applied using fixed, compliant milestone logic, not incentives.
Payments must not be linked to credit, loans, or restricted sectors. For full details, refer to the Restricted Sector Register before sending a payment request.

 • A flat fee applies only to successful payments
 • No setup costs, no subscriptions, and no charges for unpaid invoices

Brumby is built to protect your cash flow - no surprises, no upfront costs.

Note: For card payments, a small surcharge may be applied to the payer at checkout by our payment partner. This is always disclosed clearly before payment is made.

While the rewards themselves can’t be customised per business, we tailor reward opportunities by industry, so your customers receive offers that feel relevant and valuable.

Brumby Pay rewards are triggered by fixed milestones, not by individual invoices or transaction values.
Eligible payments made in full and on time may count toward:
 • platform-wide milestones (based on total eligible payments across all users); and/or
 • individual milestones (based on the number of eligible payments made by a single customer).
Eligible payments can include invoiced or billed payments and in-person (POS) or eCommerce transactions made using a Brumby Pay app-linked card.
When a predefined milestone is reached, the system issues the reward to the payer whose payment meets that milestone.
To be eligible, the payment must:
 • be paid in full and on time
 • be successfully completed and recorded by Brumby Pay
 • comply with Brumby Pay’s Terms and Conditions
Milestones are publicly listed, deterministic, and applied equally. There is no luck, no bidding, and no guaranteed reward for any individual payment.

What happens after an invoice is paid?

Once your customer pays through Brumby Pay:
1. The payment is processed securely via our regulated payment partner.
2. Funds are settled to your account, with timing based on the payment method:
    • PayID / NPP: typically within seconds
    • Card or direct debit: 1–2 business days
3. Brumby Pay checks if the payment triggered a reward milestone and issues the reward if applicable.
4. Both you and your customer receive confirmation, and the payment is logged in your Brumby Pay dashboard.
There’s nothing else you need to manage, Brumby Pay handles the full process, including compliance, tracking, and reward fulfilment.
