Reward Policy

Overview:
Brumby Pay rewards positive payment behaviour through a transparent, auditable, and compliance-first milestone system. This document explains how those milestones work, how they are determined, and what you can expect.

What Is a Milestone?

A milestone is a predefined system threshold triggered by either:

  • The total number of eligible payments completed across all Brumby Pay users nationwide (platform-wide milestones); and/or

  • The number of eligible payments completed by an individual customer (individual milestones).

Eligible payments include:

  • Invoiced or billed payments, whether processed through the Brumby Pay platform or paid using a payment card linked to the Brumby Pay app; and

  • In-person (point of sale) and eCommerce payments tracked via payment cards linked to the Brumby Pay app.

Only payments that are paid in full and on time, successfully completed, settled, and recorded by Brumby Pay’s systems are counted toward milestone thresholds.

When a payment satisfies the conditions of a defined milestone, whether individual or platform-wide, the system may automatically issue a reward to the payer of that payment.

What Rewards?:

Rewards may include fixed-value eGift cards from approved merchants (e.g. Coles, Bunnings, Woolworths etc)
All rewards are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and issued by Brumby Finance Pty Ltd after payment in-full has been completed. Reward merchants are selected to align with our compliance framework and sector restrictions. Rewards are delivered by Brumby Finance Pty Ltd and not by the business that issued the invoice.

How Milestones Work:

System-Wide & Individual
Milestones apply to:

  • The total number of eligible payments completed across the Brumby Pay ecosystem nationwide (system-wide milestones); and

  • The number of eligible payments completed by an individual customer (individual milestones).

Eligible payments include invoiced or billed payments processed through the Brumby Pay platform, as well as in-store (point of sale) and eCommerce payments tracked via payment cards linked to the Brumby Pay app.

Fixed & Immutable
Milestone thresholds are defined in advance, encoded in system logic, and cannot be altered, influenced, or accelerated by users, merchants, or Brumby Pay personnel.

Post-Payment Only
Rewards are only generated after a payment is paid in full, on time, cleared, settled, and recorded by Brumby Pay. There is no pre-payment promise, inducement, or expectation of reward.

Deterministic
Milestones operate on a deterministic basis. There is no element of chance, no randomness, no draw, and no entry mechanism. Rewards are issued solely based on the sequence in which eligible payments satisfy predefined milestone conditions.

Why This Matters:
This approach ensures:

  • No inducement: You are never promised a reward before payment.

  • No gambling or chance: Our system doesn’t run draws, raffles, or lucky dips.

  • No manipulation: Users cannot influence when milestones occur.

Who Gets a Reward?:

Any payer (business or individual) who completes an eligible payment in full and on time may receive a reward only if their payment satisfies a predefined milestone condition.

A reward is issued only to the payer whose payment meets the relevant individual or system-wide milestone. If a payment does not trigger a milestone, no reward is issued and no entitlement arises.

How Rewards Are Determined:

Brumby Pay may issue rewards when predefined milestone thresholds are met, including:

  • System-wide (Nationwide) milestones, based on the total number of eligible payments completed across all Brumby Pay users nationwide (for example, the 1,000th, 2,000th, 3,000th eligible payment); and

  • Individual customer milestones, based on the number of eligible payments completed by a single customer (for example, every 10th payment completed by that customer, such as their 10th, 20th, 30th payment).

Only payments that are paid in full and on time, successfully completed, settled, and recorded by Brumby Pay’s systems are counted toward milestone thresholds.

Milestone thresholds may change over time but are always:

  • logged in Brumby Pay’s systems with date and time stamps

  • reviewed regularly by Brumby Pay’s compliance team

  • publicly announced on this page

  • Never apply retroactively

  • Never influence past or pending payments

Current Milestone Rewards (as of 12th January 2026):

Brumby Pay issues milestone-based rewards on a deterministic and auditable basis, triggered only after an eligible payment is paid in full and on time.

Milestones are fixed in advance and may apply:

  • Nationwide, based on total eligible payment counts across all users; and/or

  • Individually, based on the number of eligible payments completed by a single customer.

Eligible payments may include:

  • Invoiced or billed payments, whether processed through the Brumby Pay platform or paid using a payment card linked to the Brumby Pay app; and

  • In-person (point of sale) and eCommerce payments tracked via payment cards linked to the Brumby Pay app.

Milestone thresholds are not random or discretionary and are not influenced by payment value, payer identity, or merchant behaviour, other than the requirement that payments must be paid in full and on or before the applicable due date.

We operate multiple reward tiers based on paid-in-full and on time, individual & nationwide, invoice volume thresholds:

Individual Milestone Rewards

Reward Type: eGift Card
Indicative Value Range: AUD $5 – $25

Description:
Individual milestone rewards may be issued when an individual customer completes a predefined number of eligible payments, paid in full and on time.

Individual milestones are calculated per customer and operate on a fixed interval basis (for example, every 10th eligible payment completed by that customer).

Only payments that are paid in full, on time, successfully completed, settled, and recorded by Brumby Pay’s systems are counted toward individual milestone thresholds.

Milestone thresholds, reward formats, and indicative values:

  • Are defined in advance within system logic

  • May scale incrementally within a cycle

  • May reset after a defined milestone volume is reached

  • Are immutable, independently auditable, and deterministic

  • Are not subject to chance, draw, or discretion

Example:
An individual customer may reach a milestone on their 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60nd, or 70th eligible payment. Following completion of a defined cycle, the individual milestone count may reset in accordance with Brumby Pay’s published milestone policy.

Nationwide Milestone Rewards

Reward Type: Higher-Value eGift Card
Indicative Value Range: AUD $25 – $1,000

Description:
Nationwide milestone rewards may be issued when the total number of eligible payments completed across all Brumby Pay users nationwide reaches a predefined threshold.

Nationwide milestones operate on a platform-wide count basis (for example, every 1,000th eligible payment completed across the platform).

Only payments that are paid in full, on time, successfully completed, settled, and recorded by Brumby Pay’s systems are counted toward nationwide milestone thresholds.

Milestone thresholds, reward formats, and indicative values:

  • Are defined in advance within system logic

  • May scale incrementally within a cycle

  • May reset after a defined milestone volume is reached

  • Are immutable, independently auditable, and deterministic

  • Are not subject to chance, draw, or discretion

Example:
Nationwide milestones may occur at the 1,000th, 2,000th, 3,000th, 4,000th, or 5,000th eligible payment completed across the platform. Following completion of a defined cycle, the nationwide milestone count may reset in accordance with Brumby Pay’s published milestone policy.

Audit & Enforcement:

  • Brumby Pay maintains an internal milestone register

  • Milestone logic is immutable once issued

  • Reward abuse is monitored and suppressed

  • Regulatory audits are supported by full internal logs
